Head Trainer

Hannah Rickles

Cheval Noir was founded by head trainer Hannah Rickles in 2018. Hannah is a USDF Bronze Medalist currently showing Prix St. Georges and has worked at several equine facilities from the time she was 16. Starting as a barn hand, she dedicated her time to improving her riding skills and learning all she could about horse care and worked her way up the ladder to become a successful equestrian. During this time she dedicated herself to learning the correct foundations of dressage. She has trained with many national and international trainers, including Christian Schacht, Micah Deligdish, Luis Valenca, Filipa Valenca, Lea Forge, and Patrick King. She is constantly attending lessons and clinics to further her education.

Hannah is currently competing at Prix St Georges with her own Wango Tango, Third level with her own L’Fleur Delacour, Dante’s Inferno is enjoying the A and AA circut with his lessee Taryn E. in California, and Hannah is showing 1.15m with Rachel Dunn’s Pretty Boy Swag.
